someone today told me to listen to a song called “What You Need” by “The Weeknd”. It reminded me so much of a modern day version of this tune - from the Sliver soundtrack. Move with Me by Neneh Cherry. Awesomeness x billions.
so the last couple of days i have been staying at a little hotel called il pupetto near positano, italy… right on the mediteranean sea… walk out the front door onto the beach… amazing food, amazing drinks (aperol spritz!) stunning views etc. back in rome now, flying to london tomorrow…… back to normalsville, Sydney & Canberra Australia, for at least a few months on sunday………….
i love the med… it is nearly midnight here and it’s still almost 30 degrees. nice sea breeze.
staying in a little ocean front town near positano. no loser tourists, amazing fresh fish, sun / sand (rocks?!),deck chairs on the beach / umbrellas / hot chicks everywhere
love this.

introducing The War on Drugs - “Baby Missile”
Genius.
In my day I was young and crazy
Sure I didn’t know nothing but now I’m lazy
One day I won’t even know what was better
Then again, I won’t know much of nothing anyway
Two worlds, one on each shoulder
I’m trying to tell ya
Pull on over on the shoulder
I’m driving
I know when I get older
I’m dying
But I got everything I need anyway, that’s fine now
That’s fine now
That’s fine
In my time I was whack and wild
I was just being myself, damn
But then I said that it was trying on faces
One that erase my discreet graces
Pull on over on the shoulder
Ain’t trying
But it’s two worlds, one on each shoulder
I’m trying to turn
I know when we get older
I’m dying
But I got everything I need anyway, that’s fine now
That’s fine now
That’s fine
